Ben Taylor, Roseland Plant Centre

"Working in gardens across the Roseland has been a natural vocation for me. I studied for three years at Duchy College where I gained an NCH, NDC and Level 2 NVQ in Horticulture. With this academic knowledge and practical expertise I fulfilled my apprenticeship maintaining the gardens of Place Manor, a well known thirteenth century estate of the Roseland and then spent three weeks working at Tresco Abbey Gardens.

I now have over 20 years' experience in the horticultural world and have gained a wide range of skills including the latest qualifications in ground based chain-saw work. And I have knowledge of what works in the Cornish environment. I am always learning and that's what I enjoy."

Bringing beauty to gardens on the Roseland.

With over 20 years experience of working on the Roseland, Taylor Made Gardening Services offers a well known face and a wealth of local knowledge to its customers.

We provide a wide range of services from plant planning, hedge trimming and weed spraying to tree works,  landscaping and even storm damage call outs.

Thanks to our nursery Roseland Plant Centre, we are able to take on projects large and small with a range of machinery available to tackle any customer requirements.

With fair weather the Roseland is a constant "breath of fresh air" but when the winds pick up that fresh air can come a little to quickly.

When storms come to the Roseland, Taylor Made Gardening Services are available ON-CALL both day and night, to respond to any storm damaged gardens, drives or accesses. Please do get in touch to understand our call out process.
